Sheri A. Sayar, the founder of Naad, is a distinguished sound healer with over two decades of experience across Asia and Europe. Her journey into holistic healing began in 2001 during her studies in physics in Australia, where she discovered indigenous practices, shamanism, and alternative therapies, igniting her lifelong passion for holistic practices. Transitioning from a corporate career in 2008, she pursued a second bachelor's degree in ancient philosophy and alternative medicine, deepening her expertise in sound healing and meditation through intensive training in Mastery schools in India and China.

Astrid, a vocal coach, sound facilitator, and researcher hailing from Brussels, Belgium, brings a wealth of expertise to Naad School. Fascinated by the transformative power of sound, voice work, and movement, Astrid specializes in guiding individuals into meditative states for deep relaxation and inner exploration. Her studies in sound therapy, Nāda Yoga, and Hindustani classical singing in India and Belgium reflect her dedication to integrating Eastern and Western practices for holistic well-being.
About the course
What will I learn?
- Sound as a healing module, as an ancient medicine and as a modern tool. how sound affects human mind, body and energy.
- The history of sound in different culture and how it has been used.
- Theory of Music to learn what makes sound such an amazing medicine. How sound heals.
- The first level of sound techniques and their healing effect.
- How to diagnose. To be able to offer a solution one must first understand the problem. In this part of the course we learn about Human body and mind as the subject of this practice.
- Working with individuals, healing set up and application of sound
- Sound protocol, Mind Spa.
- Working with groups, how to create a sound journey.
- The ethics of working as a healer, client relationship and patient reports.
- Playing techniques of some of the musical instruments used in sound healing

4- Doctors, Psychologists and counsellors who believe in the power of sound and want to apply it during their classic practice of medicine for a more effective performance of medicine.
5- Any individual who is curious about how sounds can be applied as medicine and want to use it for her personal benefit or her community
How can I put this course into practice?
This course combines intuitive and scientific techniques of healing and it doesn’t need any prior knowledge and faith in any ideology.
After compilation of the first year, It normally takes between 6 months to a year of regular self healing and voluntary service to become ready to work with clients. However after the course you are allowed to give a sound shower, sound meditation and sessions as a service to your community and collect feedback.
After clearing the mastery of year 1, students are ready to work with clients, at this level, they are equipped to deal with a list of physical and mental conditions such as mild depression, sleeping disorder, chronic pain, negative thoughts, PMS, female organs detox, anxiety and stress management. Advanced disorders need more experience and insight to deal with which will open up to them as they practice more.
Year 2 of the program is offered to practitioners and students with at least a year of experience in sound and alternative therapy practice.
